Alfonso XIII (Westin Hotel) Calle San Fernando 2.
Tel. 95 422 2850 (5*) Built for the Exposicion Iberoamericana
in 1929 this luxury hotel is named after the unfortunate monarch
then ruling. Probably the prestige hotel in southern Spain, in
a huge building in landscaped grounds next to the University.
Casa Imperial Casa Imperial offers the opportunity
to experience a 16th century palace, in the heart of Seville.
Casa Numero 7 Calle Virgenes, 7. Tel. 954 221 581.
A tastefully converted private residence in the Santa Cruz district
that has an intimacy of setting that retains all the individuality
of a private home.
Ac Ciudad de Sevilla A modern business hotel situated
outside of the historic centre of the city, near Avenida de las
Palmas.
Monte Triana Hotel Monte Triana is located on Clara
de Jesus Montero in the Triana quarter of Seville, 15 minutes
walk from the historic city center.
Hotel Colon Calle Canalejas 1. (5*). Was totally refurbished
for the 1992 Expo and in former times was a haunt of bullfighters
and their hangers on. It is a grand and very comfortable place
to stay.
Macarena San Juan de Rivera 2. (5*). Another classy
establishment although a little way out from the centre of the
city. Roof top terrace has great views and the rates are comparatively
reasonable.
Sevilla Doctor Pedro Castro 1. A very pleasant modern
hotel within easy walking distance of the city centre.
Maria. Calle Don Remondo 19. Superb location near
the cathedral and is charming. Furniture is mostly antique with
beautifully painted headboards.
