Zaragoza Museums
The Ethnological Museum
Is housed in a stone building typical of those built in the Pyrenees.
It houses important collections of costumes from Aragon along
with agricultural implements, pottery and musical instruments.
The Natural Science Museum
Is located in Saragossa Park, near to the above museum. The museum
has some good botanical, minerological and zoological collections
related to Aragon.
e Zaragoza Museum
has a wonderful archaeology and fine arts section including a
room dedicated to the works of Goya. The museum is open Tuesday
to Saturday 10am-2pm and 5pm-8pm. Sundays and holidays 10am-2pm.

The Pablo Gargallo Museum of Sculpture
Is located in the Argillo Palace. Open Tuesday-Saturday 10am -
2pm and 5pm-9pm. Sundays and holidays 10am-2pm. Tel 976 392 058.
Dedicated to the Aragonese sculptor and contains works in bronze
and other materials as well as sketches and drawings.
The Museo Camon Aznar
Is open Tuesday to Friday, 9am-2.15pm and 6pm-9pm, Saturdays 10am-2pm
and 6pm-9pm, Sundays and holidays 11am-2pm. Installed in the Pardo
Palace, this museum is devoted to paintings from the 15th-20th
centuries. It also has a collection of works by Goya. Tel 976

The Pablo Serrano Museum
In Paseo Agustin, tel 976 280 659, open Tuesday to saturday 10am-2pm
and 5pm-8pm, although in the summer it remains open until 9pm.
Sundays open 10am-2pm. Dedicated to the sculptor Pablo Serrano
and located in the old workshops of the Provincial Hospital. 115
sculptures and 77 paintings created by his wife.
AThe Pilar Museum
Is located in the Basilica. It was founded in 1977 and shows the
jewels donated to the the Virgin of the Pilar over the centuries
as well as other items relating to the Basilica. The museum is
open daily 9am-2pm and 4pm-6pm, tel 976 299 564.
The Seo Tapestry and Chapter House Museum
In Plaza de la Seo, tel 976 291 238, is open Tuesday to Saturday
10am-2pm and 4pm-6pm, Sundays 10am-2pm. It houses an extraordinary
collection of tapestries from the Chapter House along with busts
and sacred objects.
The Caesaraugusta Forum Museum
in Plaza de la Seo, tel 976 399 752 is open Tuesday to Saturday
10am-2pm and 5pm-8pm and Sundays 10am-2pm. It is a permanent exhibition
of remains excavated between 1988 and 1989 in the Plaza de la
Seo. They belong to a market in the times of Emperor Augustus
and the town forum of Tiberius.
