Leon Cathedral Museum
This museum built under the French Gothic
canon in the 13th century. It contains exhibits that originate
from Prehistory right through to Neoclassicism. The room dedicated
to Romanesque is unique with its sculpture collection of sixty
pieces from the 12th and 13th centuries.
Not to mention Spanish and Flemish triptychs, ivory, cult objects and extraordinary codices such as the unique Mozarab Antiphonary, the 10th century Bible and Book of Illustrations. It is one of the most complete museums of its kind.
