Caceres Natural Monuments
Los Barruecos
The extensive plains that extended over a large part of the land
included between Brozas and Trujillo, settled on the Caceran peninsula
appear peppered in some enclaves by outcrop blocks of granite
but not so spectacular as those of los Barruecos.
The Natural Monument environment has pastureland areas and cultivation
as well as oak isolated groves that bring great value to the area.
The protected space is completely located in the terminal municipality
of Malpartida de Cáceres and occupies an area of 319 has.
Castañar de Ibor Caves
The Castañar cave is found in the terminal municipality
of Castañar de Ibor, close to the said locality by following
the road which leads to Arroyo de los Lagares.
