San Sebastian Museums
Museum of San Telmo
The museum was inaugurated in 1932, consists of three floors.
On the ground floor we have the church, the cloister and the Archaeology
section, which exhibits sepulchral gravestones, baptismal fonts,
coats of arms and one of the best collections of discoid steles.
Paintings by El Greco, Alonso Cano, Rubens, Ribera, Depièce
and Zuloaga form part of the art gallery. The top floor is dedicated
to contemporary Basque painting and hung on the walls of this
section are canvases by Ugarte, Arteta, the Catalan, Sert and
Ameztoy.
Opening hours
Tuesday to Saturday, from 10:00 to 13:30 and 16:00 to 20:00. Sundays
and public holidays, from 10:30 to 14:00.
Admission fees
Admission is free.
