“A museum for the remembrance, a museum for the future”
The Gernika Peace Museum Foundation whose founders are the Basque
Government, the Biscay Country Council and the Gernika-Lumo Toen
Council, pretends to be an attractive and dynamic space, a scene
that does not want to impose absolute truths, but which invites
you to question yourself and to discuss about peace. The museum
also offers a museum shop, documentation centre, didactic workshops,
talks, conferences, and temporal exhibitions… museoa@gernika-lumo.net

Bosque animado de Ibarrola
KORTEZUBI
Bizkaia
It is one of the most provocative and exciting aesthetic adventures
of contemporary art. The strokes painted on lifeless stones or
tree barks share a great complicity with the surrounding environment.
Access: A-8 or N-634 up to Amorebieta-Etxano and later, Bi 635
and 638 towards Kortezubi. Before arriving at this town, take
the detour on the right that shows the way to the Santimamiñe
caves following the BI-4244.
