Only Hispano-Moorish works of art are collected here (ceramics,
sculpted wood articles, tiled panels and with alicatados, plasterwork,
cloth, etc.) which show the prowess of the artists and the craftsmen
of that period.
Casa-Museo Manuel de Falla

The composer Manuel de Falla (1876-1946), a great lover of Granada
which he only discovered at 40 years of age, lived in this 16C
house between 1919 and 1939.

Arqueologico Museum
Carrera del Darro 43 - Granada
It is set up in the casa Castril (1539), a Renaissance palace
with an attractive plateresque door, decorated with a profusion
of heraldic symbols.

The collections in this museum are made up especially of paintings
and sculptures from th 15C to the 20C. The collections from the
15C to the 17C have works of religious inspiration by Sánchez
Cotán, Siloé, Alonso Cano and Pedro de Mena.

Various objects found in Phoenician necropolises of Laurita and
Puente Nov are on display in this museum in an original Roman
cellar.
