The portals to the main building (1920) come from the old 16C
grain store, as the reliefs of a bread basket show, and St Michael's
Church, also from the 16C.

St. John of the Cross Museum

St John of the Cross, the famous mystic and poet, died in Úbeda
in 1591. In the Convento de San Miguel where his Baroque oratorio
is kept, you can have a guided tour retracing the last days of
his life.
Archaeology Museum of the Mudéjar
House

The 14C mansion is Mudéjar in style, in other words, built
and decorated by Muslim craftsmen living in Christian territory
after the Reconquest. It has been restored and houses the archaeology
museum, where the objects on display found in the region cover
