CASA DEL CORDÓN
The house was built in the 15th century and it is an excellent example of civil Gothic architecture.
More specifically, its style is flamboyant or late Gothic. The façade is defined by its three entrances with pointed arches. The arms of the Catholic Monarchs can also be made out on the façade. What was the main entrance is framed by the cord of the order of Saint Francis, which gives the name to the house. Inside the most notable feature is a tower of earlier medieval origin around which the house was built and which seems to date from the 13th century.

PALACIO DE AJURIA-ENEA
The headquarters of the Basque Government.
The Palace of Ajuria-Enea is known, above all for being the headquarters of the Basque Government. Apart from its administrative function, it contains monuments, history, and art of great value.
Built in 1918. Commissioned as the residence of the Serafín Ajuria family. A perfect example of the 'Basque style' of traditional architecture. In this way, the Palace of Ajuria-Enea in addition to being a political symbol is also a clear master of it. Ajuria-Enea is also the residence of the 'lehendakari' (leader of the Basque government). It has a beautiful and simple garden with centennial trees.
