Pamplona City

This city sits on the Arga river plain.Pamplona is full of history and strong traditions.

The streets and squares of its historic quarter still preserve an important collection of monumental buildings dominated by its churches and medieval walls.

Pamplona is a city where tradition and modernity live together.It was founded by the Roman general Pompey in 75 BC, the importance of the city came in the 10th century with the kingdom of Pamplona.


Catedral de Pamplona

Cathedral of Santa María la Real. The construction started in the mid-13th century on the site of a 12th century Romanesque building, although work on it was not completed until the 16th century. This monumental building has three naves in the Gothic style, as well as several Neoclassic additions.
