Soria Information
The city of Soria provides very good examples of Romanesque monuments: the San Juan de Rabanera Church with its precious apsis, and Santo Domingo Church which boasts the most beautiful façade of the Spanish Romanesque.
Less than three miles away from the Parador lies the ashes and ruins of the heroic Celtiberian city of Numancia and the Numancia Museum.
The Archs of San Juan de Duero, and the San Saturio little church are other interesting places to be discovered.
The Feasts of San Juan, la Madre de Dios, and the local Main Feasts of San Saturio which include a religious performance and a procession of the saint's relics, are the most remarkable traditional events going on in Soria.
