River Ebro

A Long Trail that follows the course of the River Ebro from its source in Fontibre to where it flows into the Mediterranean Sea.

Its route through Cantabria (51 km) will arrive at the border with Burgos (Orbaneja del Castillo) passing through Reinosa, Retortillo, the ruins at Julióbriga, Celada Marlantes, the Monastery at Montesclaros, Aldea de Ebro, Mount Hijedo, Ruerrero and Villaescusa de Ebro.

As well as following the interesting course of the River Ebro, a few stretches cross interesting forests such as Mount Hijedo, or important archaeological remains such as the Roman city of Julióbriga.

In the near future it is expected to be marked and published in the relevant topoguide.
