Trail through the Saja Reserve
A Long Trail (127.5 km) that crosses the Saja National Reserve, an area that covers approximately the westernmost third of Cantabria.
The trail starts in Bárcena de Pie de Concha, and travels through vast beech and oak tree forests, beautiful brañas (high pastureland) filled with holly trees, and some of Cantabria's most attractive and interesting villages.
The trail passes through Bárcena Mayor, Saja, Tudanca, Pejanda (Polaciones), Cahecho, Potes, Bejes and Sotres, in neighbouring Asturias, where the trail ends.
