Palencia San Migue Church
It has an open-work tower of the 13th century with
a military appearance.
This tower is at the foot of a 11th century church with three
naves divided by pilasters with ogive vault roofs. Under the tower
there is the Gothic main front that has six archivolts.
The Gothic figures act in contrast to the Romanesque bas-relief.
Outstanding inside is the XIV century Christ in the Prebestry,
the altars from the 16th and 17th centuries (one of them with
a Flemish Piedad), and fragment of Gothic mural painting.
