Beaches in Mallorca have as many shades as its coastline: there are fine white sand beaches in some areas, similar to the Caribbean ones, coarse sand beaches in other areas and in some inlets, often the most suggesting ones, you can only lie on pebbles...

You may find spectacular landscapes with dunes and small inlets resembling paradise, but there are also areas controlled by tour-operators. It´s your choice.

Most of the southern beaches are among the most developed and crowded. They are also the closest to the capital.

However, you can discover some quiet spots with crystal-clear water.

The beaches in the west side are in general easy to reach and quiet crowded in the dos days of the summer. temperatures are excellent and we specially recommend those qualified as virgin beaches.
