Visiting Pollença
1. Puig de Santuïri: Green space for public use located at 1.5
km from Pollença on the road that joins Pollença to Port de Pollença
Bay.
2. L´Albuferreta: Humid area of flooding swamps, and fields of
reeds. It has been lately declared a Natural Park.
. Beaches:
a) Port de Pollença: It has an approximate length of 6 km. of
fine and smooth sand. It offers all kinf of services as First
Aids, pedaloes, sunbeds, umbrellas, sports area, surfing school.
b) Cala Sant Vicenç: It has a length of 175 meters distributed
in four inlets, Cala Barques, Cala Clara, Cala Molins and Cala
Carbó. First Aid services, pedaloes, sunbeds, umbrellas. are offered.
c) Formentor: It has 1 km. length. Bar, restaurant, sunbeds, umbrellas,
showers, dressing rooms, horse- riding, parking. all these services
are available. It is a semicircular beach with a narrow strip
of thin and smooth sand and crystal clear waters.
d) Cala Bóquer: Small rocky inlet accessible after approximately
and hour through the valley of the same name. The way goes through
a private property.
e) Cala Murta: Inlet of boulder with a length of 30 metres. Its
beautiful landscape and crystalline water stands out, 20 minutes
journey from the road that connects Formentor beach with the lighthouse.
f) Cala Figuera: It is a small unspoilt inlet facing to the North,
very dry and of deep clean waters. Other small inlets but with
restricted access from land are: Cala en Feliu, Cala en Gossalba,
Cala Castell, El Caló.
